All the way from the magical Hachmann's Nursery in Germany, 'Fantastica' is a cross of a rich red rhododendron and the floriforous species from Japan nicknamed 'yak'. 'Fantastica' is certainly fantastic with the low shrub smothering itself with the attractive picotee flowers in May, stopping traffic! We love to see it planted in banks of 3-5 to make a stunning show in May.
