Yukon Blue

'Yukon Blue', an Iseli Nursery introduction, is quite distinctive. The electric silver blue-gray needles offer a contrast to almost all other plants, making it very useful in landscape designs. The tree is slow growing and very hardy, to -40 deg F. Faster growing than the more well known 'Conica' so will get up to its mature height quicker. The needles of this Eastern White Spruce are a darker blue and shorter than most of the Colorado Blue Sruce usually offered for this type of conifer.
