Pinus thunbergiana 'Yatsubusa'

A dwarf form of Japanese black pine that grows very compact with shorter internodes than the species. The needles are bright green and slightly shorter than the species.   'Yatsubusa' sets cones at a young age, often on the one gallon plants.  This selection will grow into a very nice, dense full plant.  Very desirable and popular among collectors. The white candles are decorative all winter.
