Unique Marmalade
Unique Marmalade
A magical rhododendron hybrid created by the late Joe Davis of Sumner, Washington by crossing the light pink flowering R. 'Unique' with the orange rhododendron R. 'Orange Marmalade'. The resulting hybrid look very orange in color from a distance. When you get close there is a blend of pink and yellow in the flower. The flower trusses are rounded clusters that are presented nicely, and cover the plant. This hybrid has very nice rounded foliage, and makes a very attractive specimen in the garden always looking full and lush. The size of the shrub is pleasing, growing to 4 ft tall x 5 ft wide in 10 years. Hardy to zone 7.
Premium Variety – This variety has proven itself over time to be a higher-grade plant with better performance, a higher degree of attractiveness, and is hard to find and purchase.
