Thuja orientalis 'Franky Boy'

Thuja orientalis 'Franky Boy'

This interesting form of Arborvitae has stiff, wiry foliage that shoots out from the center. The center is more green, then becomming more lemon yellow towards the outside. Looks like a brush. The texture will contrast nicely with other foliage colors and types. Some gardners like to think it has a 'grass' look, but doesn't defoliate in winter. Can be sheared to keep it the size and shape you want. Very unusual. Hardy to zone 5. If left unpruned, this plant will grow to be 3-4 ft tall and 2 ft wide in 10 years.
