A new rhododendron from the master hybridizer Nolan Blansit. Although not registered, this special plant was the high point of many years of work to get a low growing orange flowering rhododendron with 'flat-faced' flowers. The complicated parentage has 'September Song' and R. aberconwayi in it. Sporting nice dark green leaves, the plant stays under 2 ft. tall and 3 ft. wide in 10 years. The orange/peach flowers cover the plant in mid April. Hardy to zone 8.
