Taxus cuspidata 'Rezek's Gold'

Named and registered by the late master plantsman Ed Rezek, this  Japanese yew has bright butter-yellow new growth that becomes dark-green as the season progresses, adding excellent contrast. The plant will only be 2 ft tall and wide in 10 years, so will fit into a small garden. This conifer looks and performs its best when exposed to morning sun and afternoon shade, planted in well-drained soil. Hardy to zone 4.
