Taxus cuspidata 'Dwarf Bright Gold'
Taxus cuspidata 'Dwarf Bright Gold'
Bright gold foliage on a spreading dwarf Japanese yew. The bright golden color persists all season, making it a good choice for contrast against darker foliage plants. Needs to be in bright light to get the best gold color, as in shade it will be more chartreuse in color. In 10 years time, the plant will be 4 ft wide and 3.5 ft tall. Found in the USA in the mid 1980's. Hardy to zone 4.
