Superflimmer
Superflimmer
Found by Stewart Imre of Washington State, this sport of the rhododendron 'Goldflimmer' is fabulous. The variegation is on steroids, with huge splashes of yellow. The plant will light up a dark corner and is very easy to grow. The flower is the same as on 'Goldflimmer', lavender in color. The plant will grow wider than tall and blooms in May.
Rare Variety – This variety is difficult to find anywhere due to these reasons
· Hard to propagate – many cultivars do not root easily from cuttings, but at a reduced rate thus making the plant rare.
· Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings
