Hydrangea m. 'Stella'

Created by hydrangea breeder Mr. Daan van der Spek of Holland, 'Stella' is quite extraordinary.  The foliage has rich bronze tints on the leaf edges, making it one of the most beautiful even out of flower.  Then, in mid summer, the flowers open a pastel lavender-pink, but with the color fading to white in the center, offering a showy picotee effect.  The petals overlap, adding to the show.  We think this will be one the most talked about new hydrangeas to come out in years.
