Sister Myra Monte

Sister Mira Monte is about to become a well loved favorite of you landscapers out there.  Whether you are shopping for a large project or your own backyard garden, this compact and shapely plant is gorgeous, low maintenance and versatile!   The foliage is deep, shiny green and textured.  The buds come in a lovely pink blush and open white with splashes of yellow and pink, giving it a warm glow.  Sister Mira Monte comes to us from the late Jim Gerdeman, who was a master hybridizer of fragrant rhododendrons.  He chose R. Edgworthii as one of the parents for Sister Mira Monte, giving it beautiful textured leaves and a light fragrance.
