The most recognized feature of this plant is the bright orange indumentum coating the undersides of every leaf.  It is most recommended to plant it up on a bank so you can see the undersides of the leaves.  Lovely pure white flowers appear in April. Form of the species R. arboreum ssp. cinnamomeum.
