Silver Sword

Silver Sword' has interesting variegated foliage on a low mounding plant with red flowers, blooming in April.  It is easy to find a spot for this azalea.  Its nice variegated foliage offers a wonderful contrast to other plants in the garden.  Developed by the Girards in the late 1940's, who were looking to produce compact, hardy evergreen azaleas for use in landscaping and containers.  This plant will brighten up any shady corner.
