Senator Henry M. Jackson

Senator Henry M. Jackson

The flowers on this yak hybrid are truly scrumptious!  If they were edible, they wouldn't last a day.  All kidding aside, this is a rhododendron with prize winning white flowers…large in size and thick in texture.  The plant itself has nice dark green leaves and it makes a nice dense mound that is attractive all year.  Named after a famous political figure from Washington state.

Rare Variety – This variety is difficult to find anywhere due to these reasons
·       Hard to propagate – many cultivars do not root easily from cuttings, but at a reduced rate thus making the plant rare.
·       Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings
