Also known as 'Little Bluestem', this blue prairie grass is a super attractive accent plant for any garden. Easy and cold hardy, deer resistant and drought tolerant. Grows 2-4 ft tall in broom-like clumps with narrow leaves tinted blue. The stems are pinkish, offering a unique look. The foliage becomes burgundy-red in autumn and is considered by many to be its most outstanding ornamental feature. Hardy to zone 3.
