Santolina chamaecyparissus

Santolina chamaecyparissus

A mediterranean low growing shrub that is related to chamomile. The evergreen shrubs are silvery in color and have aromatic foliage keeping them pest and deer resistant. The yellow flowers appear in summer for more than 1 month. Hardy to zone 6. Very useful as a contrast landscape plant as the silver-gray foliage looks good against any other color. Grows 2-3 ft tall and more wide.
