Rock Star

An unregistered new hybrid by Singing Tree Gardens. The cross of R. Fantastica x R. 'Frank Gallsworthy' has resulted in this fine, compact hybrid with 'star' shaped flowers Each flower has a white center with orange/pink spotting on the dorsal lobe and a bright magenta picotee edge that defines the star. The foliage is medium green and slightly turned down at the edges, giving each leaf a 'solid' look. The plant grows to be 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide in 10 years. Hardy to -5 degrees F.

Rare Variety – This variety is difficult to find anywhere due to these reasons

·        Hard to propagate – many cultivars do not root easily from cuttings, but at a reduced rate thus making the plant rare.

·        Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings
