Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Rimpelaar'

Found in the mid 1900's by Snepvangers Nursery in the Netherlands. It is a delightful small globose grower becoming tighter and tighter with age. We love the tightly packed blue juvenile foliage. One can expect this plant to be 12 inches by 12 inches in 10 years. Looks great with golden foliaged plants like the Celebration heath, or All Gold Juniper. I was trying to find the meaning of 'Rimpelaar', and it turns out to be someone's last name.
