Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Repens'

This cultivar of Hinoki cypress layers itself into a nice mound.  It is very slow growing and will be similar to Ch. o. 'Pygmaea'. The plant grows 2-3 inches per year, eventually getting to 2 ft tall and 2.5 ft. wide. Originally found as a branch mutation on Ch. o. 'Nana Gracilis' by William Hage Nursery, Boskoop, The Netherlands. One of the most handsome of all Hinoki cypress.
