R. 'White Gold'

This is the first rhododendron hybrid I ever grew in my yard, so I can say It is responsible for my passion for rhododendrons. The large reflexed flowers have a prominent gold flare in the upper lobe, and are described by some as a 'large leopard-skin flare'. The plant is easy to grow, flowers dependably, and will make an attractive specimen in your landscape.  Hardy to zone 7. Will grow to 6 ft tall and wide in 10 years.
