R. 'Ube'

New from the Thompson Nursery in Oregon, this blue-purple flowering rhododendron is quite unique. The foliage is dark-green and lush on a plant that stays low, 3-4 ft tall. Flowering is in May. The red spotting in the upper lobe causes the color to be deeper.
