R. 'Sarita Loder'

When in full bloom, this rhododendron is a waterfall of pink and white trumpet flowers. Stunning! Created by the Loder Nursery in the 1930's, it is a cross between R. griersonianum x R. Loderi group. This is the nursery that created all of the Loderi rhododendrons, so it has to be good. The plant will grow to be 6-8 ft tall over time, and has dark-green leaves that are long and narrow. Hardy to zone 7.
