R. 'Raspberry Rose'

A new, but not yet registered, Singing Tree Gardens rhododendron hybrid. The cross of 'Dido' x 'Lem's Cameo'has a flower that really glows, and if the sun is behind the plant they look like glowing coals. We are proud of this one, and will be propagating them as time goes on. 'Raspberry Rose' will be 5 ft tall x 7 ft wide in 10 years, and is hardy to zone 8 and 9.

Rare Variety – This variety is difficult to find anywhere due to these reasons

·        Hard to propagate – many cultivars do not root easily from cuttings, but at a reduced rate thus making the plant rare.

·        Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings

·       Singing Tree Gardens Originals – All cultivars created uniquely by Singing Tree Gardens are deemed ‘rare’. Singing Tree Gardens is the ‘Exclusive Distributor in the USA’ of this variety.
