R. 'Lorraine Fee'

R. 'Lorraine Fee'

This rhododendron hybrid between R. 'Lady Roseberry' x R. oreotrephes has slightly darker pink flowers on a bushy and floriferous plant growing to 4-5 ft tall in 10 years.                    R. oreotrephes is from China and Burma, and has bluish leaves and pinkish stems on a rounded upright grower. The flowers on this hybrid are a lovely soft light pink. It was named 'Lorraine Fee' after the late nurseryman's wife in Fort Bragg, CA. The foliage also has a rosemary, spicy fragrance when handled. Hardy to 0 deg F.
