R. 'Don's Screaming Yellow Zonkers'

 A favorite new hybrid here at Singing Tree Gardens Nursery. I made the cross of 'Cheyenne' x 'Buttered Popcorn' back in 2003, so it has been quite a few years since it first flowered. I lost the plant for awhile, as I couldn't remember where I planted it. Then it bloomed profically, and when I found a label on it, I was thrilled that it turned up. The plant shown in the photo is the original plant, and is only 3 ft tall x 4 ft wide. The flower petals curl backwards, making t very 'puffy' flower cluster. Unique. Probably hardy to zone 7, as both parents are hardy to -5 deg F.
