R. 'Mount Loma Prieta'

Created by the late Alan Korth, this rhododendron's claim to fame is its very large flowers of pink, streaked with yellow. This plant will be 5-6 ft tall in 10 years, and blooms in April-May. The large size truss has more than 25 florets that are a soft salmon pink with a yellow flare and a touch of red-orange deep in the throat. Hardy to zone 7.
