R. manipurense

Closely related to the fragrant species R. maddenii, R. manipurense has foliage that is very attractive, making a lovely addidition to any garden that can grow it. Rhododendron manipurense is a rare and charming evergreen species rhododendron native to the mountainous regions of northeastern India and surrounding areas of the eastern Himalayas. Flowering in late spring, it is quite FRAGRANT, expecially on a warm day. Rarely offered.
