A rare Japanese rhododendron found growing at 1,500-1,800 ft and famous for its skinny indumented foliage. The long and narrow leaves, covered with a white to fawn lovely indumentum, are curved downward and backwards. The compact plant will grow to be 3 ft tall and a bit wider. The funnel, bell-shaped flowers are a clear light pink, fading to white. Slow growing and hardy to zone 6.
