R. 'King Bee'
R. 'King Bee'
One of the late Warren Berg 'yak' hybrids that he created using A+ foliage plants as parents. This one is a cross between R. degronianum ssp. yakushimanun, also nicknamed 'yak' for short and R. tsariense, one of the most highly prized foliage plants in the genus. 'King Bee' does not dissapoint, as it makes a compact and sturdy plant that will cover itself with light pink to white flowers in April. Densely covered with the tomented foliage, this will be one of your favorites over time. Hardy to zone 7. Coming Soon.
Rare Variety – This variety is difficult to find anywhere due to these reasons
· Hard to propagate – many cultivars do not root easily from cuttings, but at a reduced rate thus making the plant rare.
· Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings
