R. 'Sun Shower'

A new, but not yet registered rhododendron hybrid of R. 'Horizon Lakeside' x R. 'Calypso Punch' that is quite promising. The large flower trusses are very frilly, yellow with a red throat. The foliage is flawless, and holds well, making a full and lush shrub. Probably only hardy to zone 7.
