R. 'First Date'

This R. davidsonianum hybrid seems to be a smaller form of the species as it only grows to 5 ft tall in 10 years. The flowering is spectacular with rich pink ball trusses. Flowers heavy even in a shady location. Hardy to zone 7, and blooms in April.
