R. degronianum ssp. yakushimanum x R. hemsleyanum

A more compact version of the fragrant and hardy R. hemsleyanum has lovely dark green foliage and pure white, lightly fragrant flowers. The plant blooms late, sometimes in July or August. We are not sure who did the cross, or where we obtained it, but we do think it is a valuable plant for a landscape in cooler gardens. Hardy to zone 7.
