A rhododendron species from India (Arunachal Pradesh), Burma, China (SE Tibet, Yunnan). Growing in rocky sites on mountainsides as low mounded specimens. The plant is easy to grow, with multitudes of pink bell flowers held in groups of 4-5 nodding flowers. The thimble shaped flowers can also be red, purple or cream in color. We only have the pink form at this time. Hardy to -5 deg F.
