R. 'Blueberry Pancakes'

Sister seedling to R. 'Rock Star', this new hybrid by Singing Tree Gardens Nursery has full trusses of white edged in purple with red spotting the the upper lobe. Clean, apple-green foliage on a mounding plant that looks good year-round.  Hardy to -15 deg F, this cultivar will do well on the eastern seaboard. We think this one holds great promise. Blooms in early May.

Rare Variety – This variety is difficult to find anywhere due to these reasons

·        Hard to propagate – many cultivars do not root easily from cuttings, but at a reduced rate thus making the plant rare.

·        Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings
