R. basilicum hybrid

This big leaf rhododendron has been in our collection for many years. We were able to root a few, so others can enjoy this dramatic specimen. I have lost the record of the parents of this one, but I would expect that R. sinogrande is in there somewhere. This plant is 18 ft tall x 30 ft wide after 25 years. The leaves are 1 ft wide and 3 ft long. Probably hardy to 5 degrees F.
