R. augustinii 'Lackamus Blue'

There are quite a few 'forms' of the rhododendron species augustinii. 'Lacamus Blue' has periwinkle colored flat faced flowers, which may set it apart from other forms. It will be 6 ft tall in 10 years, and has smaller, narrow leaves that exhibit bronzing in winter. Blooming occurs in April, and the plant is hardy to zone 6b.
