R. 'Auguste van Geert'

This large growing R. ponticum or R. arboreum hybrid, introduced in 1863 by C. van Geert is one of the 'Big as a House' hybrids. The large pink flowers come out in  March or April and cover the plant fully. Hardy to 0 deg F. it will reach 12 ft tall and wide over time.
