Pumpkin Patch
Pumpkin Patch
Another new rhododendron from my hybridizing efforts, this orange, pink and yellow one made me think of pumpkins when it first bloomed. The flower trusses are 5 inches across on a plant that grows to be 3-4 ft tall in 10 years, and about the same wide. The color is quite rich, and stands out among other lighter or darker colored flowers. This one is not tested, but is probably only hardy to zones 8 - 10. Currently unregistered.

· Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings
· Singing Tree Gardens Originals – All cultivars created uniquely by Singing Tree Gardens are deemed ‘rare’. Singing Tree Gardens is the ‘Exclusive Distributor in the USA’ of this variety.
