The Tibetan Cherry is grown for its bark, not the flowers, which takes a few years to start showing, but is so worth the wait. Looking like copper peeling in long semi-transparent strips. When the sun is behind the tree, it is spectacular! Small flowers appear in spring, but are not ornamental. The tree is unassuming until you see the bark.
