Primula alpicola 'Violacea'

Beautiful and scented primula from Tibet makes a clump, then spreads a bit. Vivid purple flowers with a white center are produced from May into June on this long lived garden plant. We are just now growing this one, so haven't experienced the perfume that is reported around the blooming flowers, but it has reports that it perfumes the garden.
