Pinus strobus 'Pendula'

Pinus strobus 'Pendula'

A weeping form of Eastern White Pine.  Usually, this plant has to be staked to get the leader to go up, but then all of the branches go down. The needles are blue and weep on every stem.  It will be a large plant in time.  Pinus strobus 'Pendula' was found around 1866 in UK.  Some specimens look like dinosaurs or elephants...a fun plant if you have the room.  This photo is of a plant at Buchholz & Buchholz nursery in Oregon.
