Pinus parviflora 'Kobe'


A dwarf variety of Japanese White Pine. Short, straight, thick needles no longer than 1/2 to 3/4 in length and Blue green. Plant grows about 4-6 inches a year. Mature at 8 ft.. Introduced Kobe Arboretum in Tokyo, Japan. Often used in bonsai, as the photo shows. Just to be totally clear, we offering for sale a 1 gallon tree that is 2-3 years old. The bonsai pictured is more than 20 years old, and is shown as an example of what can be created.
