Pinus mugo 'Pumilio'

A form of the Swiss mountain pine that is native to the mountains of central and southern Europe. This form 'Pumilio' dwarf with a dense, spreading habit that will be 2-3 ft tall and 3-4 ft wide in 10 years. The dark-green needles are short, 1-3 inches long, and growing thickly along the stem. Excellent for rock gardens or a low accent plant in any landscape. Easy to grow and hardy to zone 3.
