Picea pungens 'Dietz Prostrate'

Picea pungens 'Dietz Prostrate'

Spectacular ground-hugging and trailing Colorado blue spruce. This broom will rival Picea p. 'Glauca Procumbens', as it stays even lower. It can be planted to cascade over and down rock walls, or large boulders for a dramatic landscape effect. The silvery blue foliage can be pruned lightly if desired to keep it from growing beyond its preferred size. Low maintenance, and deer resistant. Hard to zone 4.
