Picea glauca 'Mac's Gold'

Picea glauca 'Mac's Gold'

A slow-growing evergreen conifer with a dense pyramidal form. New growth in spring is a dazzling cream-white, before changing back to dark blue-green by summer. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. An added bonus when small red cones appear along with the bright lellow flush of new foliage. A great addition to the background plantings.

5' tall x 3' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -60 degrees. USDA zone 1.
