Here is a dwarf Jack pine that grows slowly and has very short needles. The is ideal for small gardens as it will only reach 2-3 feet tall in 10 years. Excellent for bonsai or planted in a container on the deck. Found as a chance seedling at the Arnold Arboretum. Dense and compact. Hardy to zone 2.
