Phyllis Korn

Phyllis Korn

Creamy blossoms with a red throat and red spots characterize the flowers on this vigorous rhododendron hybrid. The foliage is large and very shiny as if polished.  It blooms in late April, and will grow to be 5-6 ft. tall in 10 years. This one always wins ribbons at the truss shows. Prefers some shade. Because this cultivar is a tetraploid, and has more chromosomes, it has bigger flowers, sturdy stems, and impeccable foliage.
