From the Whitney collection, this R. fortunei hybrid grows large, and has highly fragrant light pink flowers. Like other rhododendron hybrids with R. fortunei in its parentage, this cultivar will not disappoint. The foliage is large and attractive with a rounded, oval shape. The plant will perform best in a bit of shade. Living up to its name, 'Perfume' will fill the air in your yard or garden with a spicy fragrance, detectable at quite a distance from the plant. Hardy to 0 deg. F.
