Munsterland
Munsterland
New from Europe, this broom of Abies nordmanniana will grow into a dwarf, flat bun with nice short green needles. Originally found by Gunter Eschrich in northern Germany- the Munsterland region to be exact - in 1986, this miniature selection of the Nordmann fir grows into a flattened bun with short needles bunched tightly together. The plant will grow 1 inch per year making a tiny tree to 10 inches tall and perhaps 12" - 15" wide in 10 years. This is an excellent plant for the rock garden or alpine garden because of its intricate structure and appearance.
