Profuse budding on this dwarf spruce creates an interesting texture in the landscape. The plant grows into a wide, flattened mound with short, fat branches of shiny green needles. An excellent dwarf spruce that is always admired in our gardens, and as with most Picea pungens, their cones will feed birds in the winter.
